Committee B02 on Nonferrous Metals and Alloys

ASTM Committee B02 on Nonferrous Metals and Alloys was formed in 1902. B02 meets twice a year, usually in May and November, with approximately 40 members attending over three days of technical meetings. The Committee, with current membership of 167, has jurisdiction of over 208 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 02.04. Committee B02 has 6 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. These standards have and continue to play a preeminent role in all aspects important to the industry including: compositions, properties, dimensions, classification, nomenclature, analysis, and quality assurance.
