Revision of D4175-22a Standard Terminology Relating to Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants

Rationale: Some subcommittees in Committee D02 have performed interlaboratory studies at a single location to determine precision of test methods for certain properties that are unstable.
Recently Subcommittee J on aviation fuels incorporated a ‘reproducibility, single site’ description and requirements into their Operating Procedures. However, Committee D02 has not had a suitable definition or description of this practice, so this ballot is an attempt establish what ‘single-site Reproducibility’ means, and when it is appropriate to use this approach to developing precision for certain test methods.
Related information is presented after the ballot to allow voters to readily see many of the referenced documents.
