Revision of D7319-22 Standard Test Method for Determination of Existent and Potential Sulfate and Inorganic Chloride in Fuel Ethanol and Butanol by Direct Injection Suppressed Ion Chromatography

To convert units of mg/L to mg/kg for the chloride and sulfate anions, it is necessary to run the density of the neat and peroxide treated samples. In many cases, the mg/L result is below the calibration range. In the event the concentration of the anion is below the calibration range, running the density is not necessary. This ballot would make running the density optional in such cases.
