This Practice covers the requirements for the installation of flexible fabric reinforced pipe intended for the rehabilitation of pressure pipelines.

Rationale

This standard is needed as currently there is no ASTM standard. Fabric reinforced lining systems have been utilized extensively to rehabilitate pressure pipelines worldwide for about 25 years. These technologies are commonly specified by municipalities, design engineers and private owners and installed by certified contractors and municipalities.

The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
