The Purpose of the document is to provide guidance, for users of exoskeletons within the clinical environment. This document will include the sanitation of exoskeleton systems both powered, and none powered. This should allow the application of cleaning regime to the clinical standard. This guide should provide the considerations for the cleaning process of exoskeletons within the clinical environment. The validation of cleaning the exoskeleton is an important process to consider when ensuring a functional and sanitized system. The considerations include but are not limited to, bio matter, dirt and perspiration collection. This guide will describe the process of critical cleaning for clinical exoskeletons for reduction of antimicrobial cultivation.
Exoskeleton, Exosuit, Medical, Clinical, Cleaning, sanitize
With the dramatic increase of Exosuit/skeleton technology's the use of the equipment is beginning to appear more and more in the clinical/medical environment. Like any product the exoskeleton need to be maintained to a sanitized level to ensure safety when operating in these environments. This document will be aimed at clinicians and all clinical based staff who will need to be informed on this process, the document will also inform the manufacturers of the device when designing these systems.
