New Terminology for Terminology for Climate and Community.

1. Scope

This guide will define various words, acronyms and issues commonly used by Federal, State, Municipal, Tribal and industry entities to describe climate change phenomenon, extreme weather impacts on human communities and corrective responses to these impacts. It may be used by ASTM committees and other users, to write standards needed for climate issues and outcomes. Sources for this guide will included academia, Federal agencies such as the EPA and FEMA, and international organizations addressing climate.

Rationale
