New Test Method for Response of a deck assembly to an under-deck flame impingement exposure
1. Scope
Evaluate the response of a deck assembly subjected to an under-deck flame impingement exposure. Deck assembly will be placed in a wind field.

Rationale
Recent research has demonstrated limitations in the currently approved test method. The proposed test method will address these limitations by increasing deck size, wind speed, and evaluating joist and deck boards used in the deck assembly.
