Wave Generation; Surf; Surf Venues

Rationale

Due to the sporting nature of surfing, a surf wave generation system is a specialty amusement attraction does not really fit within any current ASTM standard. The development of surf venues is an expanding industry and developers of these specialty attractions need a standard to assist in design, permitting processes, construction, and operational expectations.

The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
