ASTM Committee on Ceramic Whitewares and Related Products was formed in 1949. C21 meets twice a year, usually in May and September, with about 15 members attending one day of technical meetings. The Committee, with a current membership of 71 industry professionals and experts, has jurisdiction over 62 standards published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 15.02. C21 has 4 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. These standards have, and continue to play, a preeminent role in all aspects important to the effective industrialization of Ceramics and Whitewares.
