Committee Scope

The promotion of knowledge and the development of standards (classifications, guides, practices, specifications, terminology, and test methods) for search and rescue activities.
The work of this Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM Committees and outside organizations working in this field to avoid duplication of effort.
