New Guide for Implementing Continuous Improvement for Cannabis and Hemp Operations

1. Scope

As the regulated cannabis and hemp industries progress the focus on product safety and quality is increasing and tighter profit margins require improved operational efficiency. Continuous improvement concepts and practices are key components that not only support good agriculture, manufacturing, and laboratory practices but are considered by many to be essential. Continuous improvement is used to engage everyone at all levels in the organization to consistently follow best practices and actively participate in the work of improving these best practices to adapt to change, issues, challenges, new ideas, and initiatives that regularly emerge.
