Withdrawal of D6214/D6214M-98(2022) Standard Test Method for Determining the Integrity of Field Seams Used in Joining Geomembranes by Chemical Fusion Methods
Rationale
This standard is being balloted for withdrawal with no replacement because it requires several improvements, as outlined in the negative cast by Jack Touseull in his negative cast in D35 (21-03). However, it is scarcely (if ever) used in the industry. Hence the Task Group recommended to withdraw it, in the absence of volunteer to take care of the required revisions. This proposition was accepted by the members of D35.10 attending the subcommittee meeting on January 28, 2022. Should a D35.10 member see a benefit in maintaining this standard, he is welcomed to contact the subcommittee chairman to coordinate this work.
