Rationale
This ballot addresses quality and testing in C1837, Production of Dry Cast Concrete. ASTM C94, Ready-Mix Concrete, was used as a draft and some wording is not applicable to this standard. Section 4.1 directs the quality and testing to the precast product standard, i.e., C1577, etc., being produced with the dry cast concrete and those parameters are more thorough and stringent than those in current Sections 7 and 8 of this standard.
