This standard has undergone significant upgrade under the guidance of the FAA, the primary users and original authors of the standard. Considerable time and effort has been put into the development of a working document that is deemed to meet their needs as well as providing guidance and design director for the determining of glass thickness in airport traffic control tower cabs. Although this standard may be applicable to other areas, the scope defines its use strictly for Tower Cabs. As such, comments are welcome which are germane to the items in the scope or any technical issues within the body of the standard. We ask for your affirmative vote.
