Revision of D6849-13 Standard Practice for Storage and Use of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) in Sample Cylinders for LPG Test Methods

None Provided

Minor changes to the scope are proposed pertaining to modification of Pressure Safety Vent (PSV) on common DOT single port/valve (barbeque) type cylinders, vs. common DOT multi-port (mower/forklift) type cylinders. Modification of PSV on single valve cylinders can prohibit their use outside of permitted facilities such as refineries, gas plants or pipelines. An additional section is added recognizing that these cylinders are available in aluminum or stainless, and can be internally coated which may be preferrable for certain tests that could be affected by surface or surface/volume ratio.
