New Specification for Separation Geotextiles
1. Scope
1.1 This is a materials specification covering geosynthetics geotextiles used in separation. This is a materials purchasing specification and design review of use is recommended. 1.11.2 The purchasing agency may specify and require participation in the AASHTO NTPEP GTX Geosynthetics Program and the manufacturer shall follow and meet all requirements of the AASHTO-NTPEP Geosynthetics Audit Work Plan and be listed on NTPEPs Datamine site. 1.21.3 In the context of quality systems and management, the properties in this this specification represents aare derived from common geotextile manufacturing quality control (MQC) documentprograms that are compliant with ASTM D8102. Its general use is a recommended design document. 1.31.4 The values stated in metric units are to be regarded as the standard. The values stated in parentheses (English) are for information. 1.41.5 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, is any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
