Revision of F2974-20 Standard Practice for Auditing Amusement Rides and Devices
Rationale
The Standard Practice for Auditing of Amusement Rides and Devices originally created in 2011, has been updated several times. Suggestions have been made to the Task Group to add a non-mandatory chart which references how ASTM F24 standards may apply when auditing associated types of amusement rides. This chart is only intended as a guide and is placed in the non mandatory information section of F2974. For a thorough review of what standards apply to an amusement ride or device, a review of the scope statements of the F24 committee standards may also be required.
