One of the biggest problems confronting the radiochemist is the problem of arousing sufficient interest in the use of radioisotopes among his fellow workers in other fields of chemistry. This was particularly true when a Radiochemistry Unit was organized at the Rock Island Arsenal Laboratory in 1950.
