This method covers the sampling of steam, either saturated or superheated, flowing in a pipe or conduit. It applies to steam at pressures sufficiently above atmospheric pressure to establish the required rate of sample flow, and also to steam at lower and subatmospheric pressures for which means must be provided to establish the required rate of flow and to deliver the sample to a container at atmospheric pressure.
