Effects of Temperature and Humidity on Linear Dimensions of Roofing Felt Laminates

Source

Data are presented on laminates of roofing felt and roof bitumen showing that their linear dimensional responses to changes in humidity and temperature are affected by felt type, felt direction, and previous history. It is also shown that equilibrium is approached very slowly and that, in many cases, humidity change causes more dimensional change than temperature.
