Removal Dose for Monitoring Effects of X-Rays and Gamma Rays


A radiation effects experiment consists of irradiating a sample and following the radiation-induced changes in some property of the sample. The only purpose of dosimetry is to monitor the radiation effects by providing a reference variable against which to plot these changes.
