Modern Liquid Fuels

Source

As major suppliers of energy for our national economy, the petroleum industry has a continuing challenge to anticipate the types and volumes of liquid fuels that will be required in the future. The ability to meet the demand as it arises is dependent upon the state of technology of manufacture and use of the fuels that can be obtained from crude petroleum.

Examples are presented to illustrate recent problems regarding quality or availability of selected fuels. The solutions of these problems are indicative of the approach which will be used to meet future situations.
