Dissolution of Metals for Analysis


The chemical analysis of any metal sample begins with dissolving of the sample. The intent of this paper is to demonstrate by means of a variety of examples the usefulness of a logical approach to metal dissolution considering oxidation and solvation as two distinct parts of the dissolution process.
