Methods for Measuring Degree of Subjective Response


Most data in engineering and science can be called objective data. That is, the data are obtained from physical instruments that measure characteristics of the phenomenon being observed. However, there are many instances for which it is necessary to rely upon the reactions of people rather than on the reactions of instruments. Such reactions are called subjective responses.
