Overcladding Repairs to Water Leakage Problems: Case Studies

Source

Two case studies are examined where water leakage problems are corrected by overcladding the exterior building walls with new wall panels. As compared to removal and replacement of deficient portions of the exterior wall system, overcladding can be less disruptive, more economical and result in a more efficient wall design. The two case studies will explore the significant design issues that were addressed and resolved in order to make overcladding repair feasible.
