Revision of E3408/E3408M-23 Standard Test Method for Evaluating Ground Response Robot Capabilities: Dexterity: Linear Inspection

Rationale

The originally published standard utilized a 4-target design for the linear rails, which was borrowed from the aerial test methods suite. However, all performance data collected to date has been from using the 5-target linear rail design, as well as a 5-target omni-directional star design. Additionally, a combination panel apparatus design that combines two linear rails and one omni-directional star has been used as an initial test before conducting the comprehensive dexterity tests. For these reasons, this revision is proposed which makes these changes by converting the standard from a singular test method to multiple test methods.
