To analyze marine fuels from 90°C to 150°C while under a low shear rate analysis. The torque response of the fuel should be a smooth and gradual increase, typically logarithmic in nature, as temperature changes. Rapid changes in torque due to the temperature and shear may indicate a problematic condition of the marine fuel.
