1. Scope

How to access and use publicly available information such as dates of building construction and water service installation, coupled with demographics and school boundaries to determine the risk of exposure to elevated levels of lead in drinking water for public schools and tribal schools.

Rationale

Sections 50110 and 50111 of the Infrastructure Improvement and Jobs Act of 2021 provided funds for this type of assessment. The US EPA and the Bureau of Indian Affairs would find this type of guide extremely useful.
