New Test Method for Effectiveness of Antifoaming Agents

1. Scope

1.1 This test method describes a method for the evaluation of antifoaming agents used to inhibit or prevent the formation of foam in liquids. This laboratory test method may be used for dilute aqueous systems containing agricultural products, or for undiluted liquid formulations. 1.2 This method is described using SI units, which are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this test method. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
