Rationale
Update precision statements for the standard to the current format shown in ASTM C670-15, Standard Practice for Preparing Precision and Bias Statements for Test Methods for Construction Materials. Section 1.1 of ASTM C670-15 states: The Form and Style for ASTM Standards requires that all test methods contain statements on precision and bias. Further, the precision statement is required to contain a statement on single-operator precision (repeatability) and a statement on multilaboratory precision (reproducibility). Remove the round robin precision data from Appendix X1.1 including Tables X1.1 to X1.3. Add Note 6, a reference to the round robin Research Report. Only those sections shown as being revised are subject to ballot. Non-altered text is presented for context only and is not subject to ballot.
