ASTM International has announced its acquisition of the Insight SQC platform and its customers through an agreement signed in October 2025.
Sabine River Partners (SRP) will continue to support Insight SQC until the platform’s handover is complete and will remain available for additional assistance as needed. Building on this collaboration, ASTM will partner with SRP on the launch of additional platforms designed to further enhance laboratory quality and improve operational efficiency for laboratories worldwide.
“InsightSQC is a natural fit with ASTM’s long-standing work in laboratory quality and proficiency testing,” said Tim Brooke, vice president, laboratory services. “By bringing this platform into the ASTM family, we can offer laboratories another practical way to apply ASTM standards, strengthen quality systems, and keep pace with evolving testing needs.”
J. Andrew Tachovsky, managing partner of Sabine River Partners, notes that he sees a promising future ahead for InsightSQC and for future collaborations with ASTM.
“We built InsightSQC to address day-to-day challenges in complex laboratory environments, and we’re proud to see it move into an organization that is deeply committed to laboratory quality,” said Tachovsky. “ASTM is a strong long-term home for the platform and for our customers. We look forward to continuing to work together on additional tools that help labs operate more efficiently.”
