Chapter 1 | General Requirements for Sensory Testing

Source

Sensory testing requires detailed management of all aspects of a study. If they are not employed, results may be biased or sensitivity may be reduced. Most of these facets depend on, or are affected by, the physical setting in which tests are conducted. The major environmental controls include elimination of irrelevant odor or light stimulation, elimination of psychological distraction, and provision of a comfortable work environment.
