Obtainable Radiographic Equivalent Penetrameter Sensitivity

Some of the properties of film and vision which affect radiographic sensitivity are discussed. Values of obtainable equivalent penetrameter sensitivity are given for some practical conditions when radiographing ¼- to 2-in.-thick steel with X-rays and 1- to 6-in.-thick steel with Co-60. Limitations to calculations of sensitivity for other conditions are given based on these results.
