ASTM Committee F27 on Snow and Water Sports was formed in 1982. F27 meets twice each year, usually in January and July, with approximately 25 members participating in 12 meetings over two days. The summer meetings usually include workshops on the latest statistical information on ski injuries, as well as advances in ski safety. The Committee, with a membership of about 100 members, currently has jurisdiction of over 13 approved standards that are published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 15.07. A list of each subcommittee, and the portfolio of approved standards and work Items under construction are available from the List of Subcommittees, Standards, and Work Items below.
