    Several Workshops and Short Courses will be held during the week of June 16-21, 2013 sponsored by ASTM Committee C26 on Nuclear Fuel Cycle. The workshops will be held at the Mercure, Pont d’Avignon Hotel in Avignon, France, in conjunction with the C26 standards development meetings of the committee.

    Online registration closes June 7, 2013. There are several registration options for this weeklong workshop. Please read the following before you register to ensure you select the appropriate events during the registration process.

    Selecting "Full Week Registration" covers all short courses and workshops being offered. It also includes lunch on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, as well as dinner on Tuesday evening.

    The registration fee for "Full Week Registration" is $300.00 for members and non-members and $150.00 for presenters.

    If you plan to attend one specific workshop, the registration fee is $150.00 and includes lunch for the day(s) the workshop is being held. Simply select the one workshop you are interested in when registering.

    Please note that there is an additional fee to attend the tours. The tours are limited to 60 attendees on a first come first serve basis. The fee to attend the tours is $75.00 which includes lunch and transportation. The deadline to sign up for the tours is May 1, 2013

    Those taking the tours will need to provide a pdf of their passport in addition to information such as current work affiliation, current home address, etc. Information must be provided one month prior to the tours.

    Because prior arraignments are necessary there will be no refunds provided for the tours.


    A refund of the workshop fee will be honored only if requested at least 7 business days prior to the workshop. To cancel your registration and request a refund, please contact Hannah Sparks at or 610-832-9678.

    All attendees, including presenters and ASTM members, are urged to register online for this event so that space requirements can be accommodated. If you do not register online by the closing date, then you must register upon arrival at the workshop. All attendees must check in at the ASTM registration desk upon arrival at workshop.

    Workshop attendees interested in receiving 4.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) should complete a CEU application form at the adjournment of the workshop, and then submit it to the ASTM staff member on site. A certificate will be sent to the attendee approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the workshop.

    Travel Options: To reach Avignon, there are several options

      - Take a plane to Marseille airport and then rent a car to Avignon.
      - Take a plane to Paris and then take a train from either Paris CDG airport or Paris city to Avignon TGV
      train station.
