Join us at 2 pm ET for this webinar introduces the essential tools needed to meet and follow the standards required for modeling packaging, whether primary (intended for containing food) or secondary (intended for industrial use). These packages are further divided into rigid and solid packages. For instance, to certify corrugated cardboard packaging according to ASTM D4332-22 standards, we need to use industry-specific applications like AriosCAD. Once modeled, the packaging can be exported and analyzed using FEA tools.
Among the various tools, we will examine SIM scale, highlighting its main features and drawing from previous experiences, such as case studies.
During the available time, we aim to cover a range of topics related to packaging engineering and informatics. This will enable designers and companies to achieve the necessary standards to define optimized and efficient packaging.
This course is designed for site staff ranging from technicians to professionals who are involved in the production or use of laboratory and field-testing data for quality assurance of test methods, manufactured products, or regulatory compliance. Specifically, it targets individuals who work in packaging design, prototyping, and testing, including those who need to ensure packaging compliance with ASTM standards and perform pre-flight checks for graphic design in packaging. This includes:
ASTM D4332 Standard Practice for Conditioning Containers, Packages, or Packaging Components for Testing
