There are no open calls for papers at this time. Please check back later for details on future special issues.
Materials Covered: (but not limited to)
- Concrete
- Asphalt
- Steel
- Polymers and polymeric composites
- Wood
- Soils
- Other materials used in civil engineering applications (for example, pavements, bridges, and buildings, including nonstructural building elements such as insulation and roofing), and environmental systems (including water treatment).
Core Topics Covered:
- Materials characterization, such as chemical composition, nanostructure, and microstructure
- Materials properties and performance, such as strength, stiffness, and fracture behavior
- Materials constructability and construction methods
- Materials quality control and assurance
- Materials durability, sustainability, climate change adaptability, and resiliency
