    Registration

    Registering for a Class
    Click on "Training Courses" on ASTM’s main page. Then click on the Course Listing to find the location of the class you want to attend. Enter the number of attendees, click "add attendees" and a box will appear to add names of students, phone numbers and email addresses. Click "add to cart" button. Check your shopping cart and click “check out” and complete the process.

    Confirmation and Location Information
    After registering online, you will receive an email within 48 hours with your registration confirmation which includes class location. Please print out your confirmation and present it to the instructor on the first day of class.

    Accommodations
    Class participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations and for paying their hotel charges.

    Payment Methods
    Acceptable payment methods are credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), Invoice or Electronic Funds Transfer.

    • Credit Cards
      You can use your credit card on our website. We use HTTPS (Secure HTTP) Protocol to ensure that ordering information is sent directly to ASTM, and that only ASTM can decode it. You can also place your order over the telephone by calling Marianne Erwin, 610-832-9686 Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm EST.
    • Check
      Checks are payable to ASTM International in U.S. dollars (drawn on a U.S. bank).
    • Invoice Payment
      Upon receipt of electronic funds transfer - money will be credited to your account. Transfer the total amount of the invoice to the account listed below and identify your payment as Training and E-Learning:

    • Receipt/Invoice
      After you register and submit your online order, an email notification will be sent to the email address you provided in your order. This email notification is your receipt. Please send an email to training@astm.org or call 610-832-9686 if you have not received your receipt after submitting your order online.


    Cancellation/Refund

    ASTM Cancellation of Class
    ASTM encourages attendees to call and confirm whether a specific course is running before purchasing airline tickets. ASTM is not responsible for the purchase of non-refundable tickets or the cancellation/change fees associated with canceling a flight. ASTM retains the right to cancel a course until 3 weeks prior to the scheduled presentation date.

    Customer Cancellation of Class Attendance
    If you need to cancel your attendance to the class you registered for, phone or email notification to ASTM is required five (5) business days prior to the first day of the seminar. You may receive a full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee, up to and including the 5th business day before the seminar. If you find that you cannot attend, and it is less than five (5) business days before the start of the seminar, you may send a replacement, with phone notice to ASTM. If you are unable to send a replacement, you forfeit 50% of your registration fee. For more information, please contact training@astm.org.

    Refund: Online Learning Event
    The online learning event is only available by the purchaser and cannot be shared. The event is valid for one year after the date of purchase. Refunds or substitutions will not be issued once the program, course, module or materials have been accessed.


    General Questions

    Do I have to be a member of ASTM to register for a class?
    No, training courses are open to everyone.

    Do I receive a discount if I am a member?
    No, there are no member discount on training classes.

    Do I receive a free membership after attending ASTM training?
    Yes, attend a course and receive a free 1-year membership to ASTM International after completing the membership application. (This applies to new members only and may not be used to renew existing memberships.)

    What are the technical requirements for accessing training?
    Adobe Flash Player 7.0+ required (newest version recommended). High speed internet connection required (1.5Mbps+).
