    Course One: Classification and Definitions of Plastics Testing (Duration: 45 min)

      • Define plastics, polymers, and resins
      • Recall the attributes
      • Recall the methods to classify them
      • Recall their modifiers and additives

    Course Two: General Guidelines for Plastics Testing (Duration: 60 min)

      By the end of this course, you will be able to:

      • Identify how false facts are generated
      • Recall the ASTM Standards and characteristics of the test methods
      • Recall the importance and types of methods to evaluate test data
      • Recognize the tools for evaluating scatter

    Course Three: Measuring Mechanical Properties of Plastics (Duration: 1 hr 10 min)

    Module One (Duration: 45 min)

      By the end of this module, you will be able to measure the mechanical properties of plastics by:

      • Tensile Testing
      • Compressive Testing
      • Flexural Testing
      • Shear Testing

    Module Two (Duration: 45 min)

      By the end of this module, you will be able to measure the mechanical properties of plastics by:

      • Viscoelasticity
      • Impact Testing

    Module Three (Duration: 40 min)

      By the end of this module, you will be able to measure the mechanical properties of plastics by:

      • Surface Testing
      • Creep Testing
      • Fatigue Testing

    Course Four: Responses to Flame Exposure (Duration: 30 min)

      By the end of this course, you will be able to:

      • Identify the basic safety precaution while testing
      • Recall the large-scale, medium- scale and small-scale tests
      • Identify the most widely used tests
      • Recall the dangers of burning specimens

    CEUs: 0.2 or 2 PDH

    Certificate: A certificate is available upon successful completion of the course and an 80% or higher score on the quiz.
