This course is designed to help you:

• improve your understanding of quality management system (QMS) standards;
• improve your organization's effectiveness and efficiency through the development of a QMS;
• meet the requirements of assessment and accreditation bodies requiring a QMS.

Learning Outcomes

The following learning outcomes will be achieved upon completion of this course:

• Develop policies/procedures for:
  • Storage, retention, and disposal of test samples
  • Preparing, checking, and amending test reports
  • Selecting competent subcontractors
  • Reporting the results of testing performed by subcontractors
  • Monitoring the validity of test results: participation in external assessment programs, participation in proficiency sample or interlaboratory comparison testing, retesting of retained items
• Recall the information required to be included in test records and reports
