About the Course

This three-day live-stream course covers the ASTM Environmental Site Assessment Standard Practices for the Phase I Site Assessment (E1527) and the Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (E1903). You will gain an understanding of how to use the standards and how the standards affect the way you do business.

The instructor will also discuss the "Innocent Landowner Defense" under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), and why due diligence is necessary.

The first two days of this course focus on ASTM E1527. Coverage includes discussion of the changes to the standard as well as the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act.

The third day focuses on how to properly plan and perform Phase II investigations using ASTM E1903 Standard Guide for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
