    This practice provides guidance for testing the load capacity of treestands.

    Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee F08 on Sports Equipment, Playing Surfaces, and Facilities, this practice was withdrawn in December 2019 and replaced by Specification F3249 on Treestands, Climbing Sticks, and Tripod or Tower Stands.1

    1. Scope

    1.1 This practice provides guidance for testing the load capacity of treestands.

    1.2 The values stated are in inch-pound units and are to be regarded as the standard.
