In light of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and our priority for the health and welfare of our members and staff, ASTM International has decided that it is inadvisable and impractical to hold the committee meetings in Prague on April 27-May 1. The decision was based on several factors, including, but not limited to:
Staff managers will be contacting committee leaders to plan alternatives for conducting committee business. For any committees that collected money for events, ASTM will work to issue refunds as necessary. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel reservations.

The 15th Annual Hydrogen Embrittlement Workshop will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Marriott Marquis in Houston, TX. Sponsored by ASTM Committee F07 on Aerospace and Aircraft, the workshop will be held in conjunction with the November standards development meetings of the committee.
The workshop is the only annual technical meeting devoted to hydrogen embrittlement testing technology for the aerospace industry, and is an ideal setting for exchanging ideas with, and obtaining feedback from, your technical colleagues in the hydrogen embrittlement testing community.Abstract Submission
Presentations are solicited in all areas of hydrogen embrittlement technology including evaluation of existing test methods, proposal of new test methods, failure mechanisms, prevention and other related topics. No written paper is required.

Students – A student's fee is waived, provided he or she is a full-time student and is not employed full time. After registering online, the student must check in at the ASTM Registration Desk on site and present his/her student ID.

Workshop attendees interested in receiving 0.70 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) must complete the CEU application form in the back of the program booklet and submit it to an ASTM staff member on site. You must be registered and have attended the entire workshop in order to receive the CEU’s. A certificate will be sent to the attendee approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the workshop.

CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY: At The Marriott Marquis Houston, notice of cancellation must be received 72 hours prior to day of arrival, in order to avoid a charge.
ASTM MEMBERS WORK AREA: ASTM will provide computers with internet connections. This area will also be wireless for your laptop computer. You may visit the ASTM website, apply or renew your membership, order publications or check your email. The complimentary wireless service is limited to the members' work area and the meeting rooms.
Attendees have the option to determine their dress at ASTM meetings. Business casual attire is acceptable at this meeting and appropriate for Houston TX. The average temperatures in November range from a high of 73 degrees Fahrenheit to a low of 52 degrees Fahrenheit.
