Dates: Thursday April 02 2020

Event Name: April 2020 Committee Week
The Workshop on Reporting of Censored Data in Air Quality Measurements will be held Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Sponsored by ASTM Committee D22 on Air Quality in cooperation with Committee E11 on Quality and Statistics, the workshop will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston, MA, in conjunction with the April standards development meetings of the committees. Objective and Scope
Censoring of laboratory data below a given reporting limit is an area of contention between laboratories and end users of lab data. This workshop will explore the issues and possible alternatives for reporting laboratory data that are currently censored, such as including uncertainty intervals. It is a companion event to a workshop on detections limits for noiseless instruments to be held in the morning of the same day.Topics to be Discussed
