    About the Event

    The Seminar on the Update of Regulatory Affairs that Concern and Affect Brass and Copper Alloys will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Sponsored by ASTM Committee B05 on Copper and Copper Alloys, the seminar will be held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, ON, Canada, in conjunction with the April standards development meetings of the committee.

    An update of the regulatory threats and opportunities for copper and brass alloys will be presented at this seminar. The entire value chain will be considered, including issues that affect the upstream production of materials, as well as the downstream fabrication and use of finished products. North American regulations will be discussed, as will policies stemming from other jurisdictions that may set important precedents.

    Online registration opens approximately 12 weeks before the workshop and closes March 29, 2017. There is no fee to attend the workshop.

    All attendees, including presenters and ASTM members, are urged to register online for this event so that space requirements can be accommodated.
