The 41st Symposium on Pesticide Formulation and Delivery Systems: Formulation and Application Challenges of Diverse Agricultural Agrochemicals will be held Tuesday - Thursday, October 5-7, 2021. Sponsored by ASTM Committee E35 on Pesticides, Antimicrobials, and Alternative Control Agents, the symposium will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA in conjunction with the October standards development meetings the committee.Objective
This symposium will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of formulation and application technologies associated with pesticides, biostimulants, micronutrients, and adjuvant products (agrochemicals). Primary attention will be directed to presentations related to:
Other topics of interest include but are not limited to; innovate crop protection technologies and innovative application technologies; including UAS delivery systems and aerial application advancements.Who Should Attend?
This Symposium is targeted to individuals and companies involved in the development and/or research of agricultural, turf and ornamental pesticide, biostimulant, and nutritional formulations, chemistries and application and delivery systems in the agricultural and turf and ornamental industries. These entities also tend to be the stakeholders and interested parties.
The language of the symposium will be English.
Symposium presenters are required to submit their papers to the Selected Technical Paper (STP), an online and printed, peer-reviewed publication for the international scientific and engineering community. After the final selection of abstracts has been approved, the ASTM Editorial Office will send authors’ instructions via email only. Manuscripts to be peer reviewed for the STP are due online no later than September 10, 2021 at the ASTM Editorial Office. The corresponding author (the author who is the main contact with ASTM Headquarters) will receive a copy of his/her paper in portable document format (PDF). All published authors will have the opportunity to purchase reprints of their papers at a nominal cost. Only those papers submitted by the manuscript due date will be included in the STP.
Please note that all submitted papers are subject to single blind peer review and will be submitted to the Library of Congress with an ISBN number and will be reviewed for inclusion in the "Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index" (CPCI) and Google Scholar.
