Registration:
Pre-register for Committee(s) Meeting(s) - There is no fee to attend an ASTM Meeting but registration is required (note: meeting registration only, contact hotel for accommodations).- Pre-registration on the ASTM website saves you time so you can go directly to the pre-registration counters on-site for badge retrieval

PREREGISTRATION
You must be registered to attend ASTM Meetings. Use our online registration form where you have the ability to register for multiple events, pay fees in advance using a credit card, and receive an electronic confirmation. You may register online at the "Register" link above.
When you preregister online, you will receive emails on committee meetings, final announcements, and other information that will help you prepare for your meeting. The registration information significantly assists us in preparations for the committee week.
The cut-off for preregistration is Wednesday March 27th 2019. After this date, please register on-site at the ASTM Registration Desk at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
HOTEL INFORMATION
All meetings will be held at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, 1550 Court Place, Denver, CO 80202.
Hotel Reservations: Staying at our contracted hotel is important to ASTM International and ultimately to you as an ASTM member. When you stay outside of the official ASTM International guest room block, ASTM is charged a penalty fee when our contractual guest room commitment is not realized. Please support ASTM by reserving your sleeping room at our official hotel. Reservations may be made via our online reservation system at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
Select your dates and proceed as instructed. Reservations may also be made by telephoning the hotel at 1-888-627-8405(you must mention ASTM in order to receive the group rate). If you need assistance with your hotel reservation, please call the hotel directly.
The discounted rate will be honored until the ASTM block is full, but no later than March 4th, 2019. ASTM rates are $189 plus tax. You may be charged a higher rate if reservations are received after the cut-off date, or when the block is full. The hotel requires a credit card to guarantee your reservation, once submitted a confirmation number will be provided electronically.
The Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel has a limited number of rooms at the government per diem rate of $181. Reservations may be made via our online reservation system at Sheraton Government Reservations. You must present your ID at the front desk upon check-in.

IMPORTANT! ASTM Rates are non-commissionable. If you book your reservation through a travel agent, they must ask for a non-commissioned ASTM Group Rate. ASTM cannot adjust your higher rate if commissions were paid to a travel agency.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY: At the Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel, notice of cancellation must be received before end of business day (5pm), 72 hours prior to day of arrival in order to avoid a charge. Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night's room and tax.
CONFERENCE INFORMATION
INTERNET: High Speed Internet is available in guest rooms for a daily surcharge. Marriott Bonvoy Members will receive free basic wi-fi in guest rooms when a rewards number is supplied at booking or check-in.
ASTM MEMBERS WORK AREA: ASTM will provide computers with internet connections. This area will also be wireless for your laptop computer. You may visit the ASTM website, apply or renew your membership, order publications or check your email. The complimentary wireless service is limited to the members' work area and the meeting rooms.
TRANSPORTATION AND DIRECTIONS

AIRPORT LINE RAIL:At a cost of $10.50, the A Line whisks travelers from the airport to Denver Union Station in the heart of downtown. Union Station is the city's transportation hub and travelers can access the free 16th Street Mall shuttle (MallRide) and free downtown MetroRide buses that provides access to the Sheraton Denver. The new Denver airport rail has six stops along the way, takes about 37 minutes and leaves every 15 minutes from 6 a.m.-8 p.m daily. The train departs every 30 minutes from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. and 3 a.m.-6 a.m..
AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE: Shuttle transportation to and from Denver International Airport is available for a fee by multiple Share-Ride Services. Individual operators may provide pre-arranged, on-demand and/or charter services to locations within the Denver Metro Area. Contact the Shuttle provider of your choice to arrange transportation service by visiting Denver Commuter Shuttle Information. Shared-ride service shuttles pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 5, outside doors 505-507 (east side) and 510-512 (west side).
TAXI: From Denver International Airport cost of a taxi is estimated to be $55.57.
RIDESHARING PROGRAM: Transportation Network Providers (TNP), also referred to as a “rideshare” company, provide prearranged transportation through an app, connecting passengers with drivers of vehicles for hire. Lyft and Uber are TNP companies operating in Denver.

PARKING: Valet parking is avaiable for a rate of $49 daily. Self-parking is also available for a rate of $41 daily.
ASTM TRAINING SESSIONS
ASTM staff will provide several training sessions on various subjects to educate and assist officers, members and non-members of ASTM committees. The following topics will be discussed:

Meeting attendees are invited to a welcome and orientation session. This session will provide a brief introduction to ASTM, its process electronic tools, and international activities. This is an interactive session and questions are encouraged as we like attendees to feel comfortable in participating at their standards meetings. Facilitated by ASTM staff, this session provides new and experienced members and visitors a chance to connect at the beginning of the Committee Week.
(Wednesday) 12:00pm-1:00pm
During this joint Technical Committee Operations and Editorial Module, we will focus on the process of standards development for new and existing standards. Topics covered include: Committee Balance, Subcommittee and Main Committee Balloting, review of the role of COS (Committee on Standards), handling of Negative votes, and the role of the editor and technical contact. This session will provide important and useful information and is intended for all members.

ASTM Training and eLearning offers award-winning continuing education courses and industry-leading online training programs. ASTM Proficiency Testing Programs (PTP) are statistical quality assurance programs that enable laboratories to evaluate and improve performance, and maintain and fulfill mandatory accreditation requirements. This session is essential for those who are new to industry or experienced individuals or companies looking to improve skill level and lab results.

COMMITTEE ACTIVITY FEES
Several ASTM committees collect a voluntary fee to support activities associated within the committee such as awards, social events, etc. Each committee determines the amount and encourages your contribution. The activity fee can be paid online in advance on the preregistration page. This voluntary contribution is not an ASTM International society fee.
SPECIAL ACTIVITY
Several committees hold planned banquet events. You have the ability to purchase your tickets online in advance on the preregistration page. Your tickets will be available on-site at the Registration Area.
COMPLIMENTARY SUPPORT SERVICES
ASTM meetings offer on-site services from the ASTM staff. We provide photocopying service, audio/visual equipment, and a members' work area with complimentary internet computers.
MEMBERS BREAKFAST
ASTM International invites you for Members Lunch with the Chairman of the Board and ASTM President on Tuesday, April 2nd at 12 Noon at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. At this lunch, you will hear an update on ASTM and have an opportunity to ask questions or share your comments. You may pick up your ticket at the ASTM Registration Desk.
SPOUSES' HOSPITALITY
To register your spouse you must add them to the online registration form. There is no registration fee. They are welcome to attend the Spouses Hospitality Breakfast, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-9:30am.
DRESS/WEATHER
Attendees have the option to determine their dress at ASTM meetings. Business casual attire is acceptable at this meeting and appropriate for Denver. The average temperatures in April range from a high of 61 degrees Fahrenheit to a low of 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
MISCELLANEOUS
Please advise the hotel and ASTM of any disability which will require special attention. The Sheraton Downtown Denver Hotel is in compliance with ADA standards.
