You must be registered to attend ASTM Meetings. Use our online registration form where you have the ability to register for multiple events, pay fees in advance using a credit card, and receive an electronic confirmation. You may register online at the "Register" link above.
When you preregister online, you will receive emails on committee meetings, final announcements, and other information that will help you prepare for your meeting. The registration information significantly assists us in preparations for the committee week.
The cut-off for preregistration is Wednesday June 19th 2019. After this date, please register on-site at the ASTM Registration Desk at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.

Hotel Reservations: Staying at our contracted Hotel is important to ASTM International and ultimately to you as an ASTM member. When you stay outside of the official ASTM International guest room block, ASTM is charged a penalty fee when our contractual guest room commitment is not realized. Please support ASTM by reserving your sleeping room at our official hotel. Reservations may be made via an online reservation system at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel .
ASTM International blocks the appropriate amount of sleeping rooms at the conference hotel during the dates of the ASTM International meeting, Sunday through Thursday. Currently there is limited availability on Friday, June 21st and the hotel is sold out beginning June 28th. There is availability on the nights of June 22nd-27th.
Select your dates and proceed as instructed. Reservations may also be made by telephoning the hotel at 1-888-627-8405 or 303-893-3333 (you must mention ASTM in order to receive the group rate). If you need assistance with your hotel reservation, please call the hotel directly.
The discounted rate will be honored until the ASTM block is full, but no later than May 23rd, 2019. ASTM rates are $199 plus tax. You may be charged a higher rate if reservations are received after the cut-off date, or when the block is full. The hotel requires a credit card to guarantee your reservation, once submitted a confirmation number will be provided electronically.
The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel has a limited number of rooms at the government per diem rate of $181. Reservations may be made via our online reservation system at Sheraton Government Reservations. You must present your ID at the front desk upon check-in.
IMPORTANT! ASTM Rates are non-commissionable. If you book your reservation through a travel agent, they must ask for a non-commissioned ASTM Group Rate. ASTM cannot adjust your higher rate if commissions were paid to a travel agency.
ADVANCE DEPOSIT/ CANCELLATION POLICY: A guarantee deposit equal to one night's room and tax will be charged to the card on file upon booking your reservation at the Sheraton Denver Downtown. This deposit will be refundable should you cancel your reservation through the end of the business day on Thursday, May 2, 2019 (MT). Deposits will be non-refundable for any cancellations made on or after Friday, May 3, 2019. ASTM Deposit/Cancellation Policy above supersedes that of the hotel and attendees will be held to ASTM's Sleeping Room Cancellation Policy.
INTERNET: High Speed Internet is available in guest rooms for a daily surcharge. Marriott Bonvoy Members will receive free basic wi-fi in guest rooms when a rewards number is supplied at booking or check-in.

ASTM MEMBERS WORK AREA: ASTM will provide computers with internet connections. This area will also be wireless for your laptop computer. You may visit the ASTM website, apply or renew your membership, order publications or check your email. The complimentary wireless service is limited to the members' work area and the meeting rooms.

AIRPORT LINE RAIL: At a cost of $10.50, the A Line travels to and from the airport transit center to Denver Union Station. The Denver airport rail has six stops along the way, takes about 37 minutes and leaves every 15 minutes from 6 am-8 pm daily. The train departs every 30 minutes from 8 pm-1 am and 3 am-6 am.
From Union Station, travelers can access the free16th Street Mall shuttle (MallRide) and free downtown MetroRide buses that provides access to the Sheraton Denver. When exiting Union Station, turn right, walk one block to 16th street, in front of Office Depot you'll find a red and blue city bus called the Free Mall Ride. To access the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, take the MallRide to the Court Place station.
To return to DIA, take the free MallRide to Wynkoop St. walk one block to Union Station. From there, you will travel on the A Line. The first train from Union Station is at 3:15am and runs continuously until 12:30am.
AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE: Shuttle transportation to and from Denver International Airport is available for a fee by multiple Share-Ride Services. Individual operators may provide pre-arranged, on-demand and/or charter services to locations within the Denver Metro Area. Contact the Shuttle provider of your choice to arrange transportation service by visiting Denver Commuter Shuttle Information. Shared-ride service shuttles pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 5, outside doors 505-507 (east side) and 510-512 (west side).
HOTEL SPONSORED SHUTTLE: Super Shuttle is a ride service that will take a hotel guest anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour between the hotel and the airport. This orientation will include an overview of ASTM and the organization and structure of D02. Learn about your role and responsibilities as a new D02 member. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Recently taken on the role of a task group leader or technical contact in your committee? This training module will provide an overview of the duties and responsibilities of task group leaders and technical contacts, as well as help you navigate the ASTM systems and various tools available to assist with your standards development work. Some applications that will be introduced are registration of a work item, organizing a collaboration area, submitting items for ballot, scheduling a meeting, and handling negatives and comments. This seminar on interpreting Proficiency Test Program (PTP) data using D7372 is designed for the participants and for the D02 Subcommittees responsible for the test methods used in the programs. The seminar is intended to highlight the tools and procedures that will enable users of PTP data to assess individual performance and/or overall test method performance. The expected outcome is to increase the likelihood of identifying improvement opportunities by the participant(s) and the test method developers as well. This module will be presented by Jim Bover, Chairman of D02.92 on Proficiency Test Programs.

This training session will provide an overview of the latest ASTM D02 standard translations included in the ASTM Spanish Standards Petroleum Collection and ASTM Portuguese Petroleum Standards Collection. The training will review how to locate and access the translated standards on ASTM Compass. The session will wrap up with a preview of the planned translations for the next calendar year.

Several ASTM committees collect a voluntary fee to support activities associated within the committee such as awards, social events, etc. Each committee determines the amount and encourages your contribution. The activity fee can be paid online in advance on the preregistration page. This voluntary contribution is not an ASTM International society fee.
Several committees hold planned banquet events. You have the ability to purchase your tickets online in advance on the preregistration page. Your tickets will be available on-site at the Registration Area.
ASTM meetings offer on-site services from the ASTM staff. We provide photocopying service, audio/visual equipment, and a members' work area with complimentary internet computers.
To register your spouse you must add them to the online registration form. There is no registration fee. They are welcome to attend the Spouses Hospitality Breakfast Monday-Thursday 8:30am-9:30am.
Attendees have the option to determine their dress at ASTM meetings. Business casual attire is acceptable at this meeting and appropriate for Denver. The average temperatures in June range from a high of 86 degrees Fahrenheit to a low of 54 degrees Fahrenheit.
Please advise the hotel and ASTM of any disability which will require special attention. The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel is in compliance with ADA standards.
