The Fluorescent X-ray Spectrographic Analysis of Minerals

The fluorescent X-ray spectrograph is being used at the Eastern Experiment Station of the Bureau of Mines, U. S. Department of the Interior, for analyzing a wide variety of minerals and ores. The samples vary from high purity minerals to low grade ores and include mineral dressing products obtained in the beneficiation of such ores. Various new techniques are being developed to perform rapid and accurate analyses necessary for such studies.
