    Abstract

    The Extrude Hone process is a unique metal finishing technique used for polishing, deburring, sizing, radius generation, and surface removal. The paper presents the basic theory and components involved in the proprietary process. Detailed data is presented on process capability and requirements. A review of current process application is made to illustrate the versatility and cost effectiveness of the process.
